We created “Clementine” because it was the children’s book we’d always wanted to read. A kind and resourceful heroine? A hilarious animal sidekick? And now we’re so excited to announce that this incredible story is officially available for preorder! Crafted for children ages five to nine, Clementine is an epic fairy tale that will make you laugh, cry, and clutch your pearls. When Clementine’s home is destroyed by an evil king, she must join forces with the grumpiest unicorn on her farm in order to save the land she loves. And everything from Clementine’s fluffy fro to the Spanish moss of her home was created to center and celebrate Black culture.
